Terrible experience. The owner Gary bungled every step: didn't wait to meet me at the first appointment, got the address of the pick-up location wrong, and worst of all told me it would be no problem to deliver my stuff. I called almost every other day for three weeks and was told the same thing: it'll be on a truck tomorrow. After my stuff was picked up in Madison, the driver called me to ask ME how HE would be getting paid (!) because he was not given the right paperwork. When my stuff arrived my bike was damaged and the legs to my couch were lost. I cannot recommend this company at all. If you are moving, do not choose Allied because they direct you to Gary at Madison Moving and Storage. Dec 2014
This company is a scam. I agreed to delivery dates of 6/8-6/18. To date (6/22), my belongings still haven't left my home state and they are unsure of when it will be picked up! So, in 20 days, none of my stuff has moved at all. Now they are not returning phone calls or e-mails, so I'm not sure if I'll ever get my stuff delivered.
I would give this scam zero stars and strongly warn others against using this service.
