Wow! Awesome experience. We hired A Way Home Moving to help us reinstall and rearrange furnishings after a home renovation. Three men arrived, worked efficiently, and were extremely pleasant.
Showed up on time, worked quickly, packed the truck very efficiently, and billed fairly. Above and beyond, they communicated well and were very professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
My parents brought a very heavy piano up from Georgia in a trailer. Other moving companies wanted to charge an arm and leg just to get it from my driveway into my house, but Justin and his team gave me a great deal. I rented an upright piano dolly from A to Z rentals (also a great experience), and together we got this ridiculously heavy piece of furniture into my house without any damage or hassle.
It was terrific to find a moving company with excellent customer service and performance. The fact that they are family owned was a bonus. I hope we don't move again any time soon, but if we do I will call A Way Home.
This was my second time working with Justin, and at this point I couldn't imagine working with any other movers in the future.
Not so with this company! They were willing to work for an hourly rate, which included all of the "gear" (dollies, wrap, pads). It was so easy- I called the office, told them what I needed, and it happened at the cost I anticipated. Sounds like a simple concept, but if you have ever used movers you probably know that this is frequently not the case.
We have had some terrible experiences with other moving companies that gave an estimate based on items to be moved, stairs involved, square footage, etc. After suffering through a day of "I didn't realize this was going" or "that wasn't listed in the quote", the cost was always well above the estimate.
Excellent in every way. They moved me twice this spring, from condo to apartment and from apartment to new house a few months later. Cheerful, efficient, professional. Highly recommend.
I'd highly recommend this company for your moving needs. Justin, Heather and their staff were wonderful to work with. Heather provided excellent, responsive customer service while scheduling, shared tips, answered questions and accommodated our needs. Moving day...Justin and Lewis were on time, called ahead as promised, loaded our truck with great skill and ease while providing great customer service and encouragement while we assisted with boxes.
