Great Customer Service. There's always a wait for trucks. I left my cell phone in the Van and they found it and it was returned safely to me!
I made an appointment here to get a hitch installed more than a week ahead of time. The appointment was on a Saturday morning. Near the end of the work day, they called me and left a voicemail saying my appointment was moved to Monday. The reason? They were selling their parking spots for football parking and wouldn't be able to access their garage. Was the college football game scheduled that morning, and they called me as soon as they found out? Doubtful. They knew or should have known about the football game if they sell parking spots and they shouldn't have given me that appointment in the first place, or at least should have notified me much earlier.
I "reserved" a hitch here and paid for it to be installed several weeks in advance. I arrived on my reservation date early. The manager then proceeded to tell me they didn't do hitch installation during the week. So I asked if they could do it over the weekend (2 days away). I was then told my hitch was not in stock and wouldn't be for at least a week. What is the purpose of a reservation if you can't honor it AND fail to provide any sort of communication about your own failure in advance??
At this point I was forced to get a truck (moving date set in stone) which was considerably more expensive. The paperwork I was provided contained completely inaccurate information about the truck, listing the wrong model and a fuel level reading of "full" even though the tank was closer to half.
Go to the location on Verona Road.
I've been here several times and have never left feeling satisfied or assured. Highly recommend you look at other moving options.
Fortunately, the location on Verona Road was able to accommodate me and they even went to this location on Washington and picked up the parts. I definitely recommend going there and avoiding this one altogether.
While my representative at this location was fantastic, and helpful, his manager was not. I worked with Ben B., who went out of his way to find solutions to the technical issues we ran into with the U-haul website, and was extremely polite and helpful throughout the process. However, the general manager at this location, Aaron W., was extremely rude. He walked out mid-conversation on two separate occasions - one of which he continued to mutter disparaging remarks as he left. He was more interested in describing the flaws of the system and situation than finding solutions. While I required storage facilities as part of this move, Aaron's demeanor and lack of professionalism led me to go elsewhere.
I've found UHaul locations to be extremely hit and miss. This one is a serious miss.
