They are so, incredibly, helpful! Having been to all manner of hardware stores from big-box to small town shops and, generally, having little to no knowledge of what I need the folks at this shop have gained my business for all hardware needs. Rather than the usual anxiety of going to a hardware store and wandering around aimlessly, I get excited to go to True Value on Park Street! :)
This is a small shop, and you shouldn't expect them to have everything. That having been said, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and it is convenient. Perfect for when you find you need a single tool or some small supplies for a project.

Have always had a positive experience. Someone greets me at the door and then helps me locate products. They can generally explain some of the differences includes "cost more, but is almost the same as this cheaper product."
