Will not spend another dime at this location. Customer service on nights and weekends is poor at best. Last 5 times there I was not asked if I was a Rewards member. Just returned from this location, had an employee lock the door as I approached and just pointed to the hours decal on the door. I figured I must have missed the closing time by 10 or so minutes. Nope, look at my watch 8:01.
So TheLancerx600 wrote a terrible review about ace being closed when ace said it was closed. This is the place to go if you are doing a home project and need advice. 100 times quicker than You Tube. These old guys in there have done it all, I have gotten into the habit of just double checking before I buy something with one of them, the other day I was going to buy a sander, so I asked the ornery old guy if I could buy it. He told me to buy the other one instead (circle sander). He lit up, saying it was his favorite tool. You don't get advice like that at Farm and Fleet or Menards. They call this place a toy store for adults. Yeah, they want to go home and they are serious about their hours. Don't be a jerk and make them stay late.
The staff at this location nails-it, every time. On most visits, I can't make it through the store without being asked, "can I help you find something", at least twice. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful people!
On the weekends, they tend to be busy -- so you may have to wait a few minutes for help. But, it's worth the wait.
This place is a great Go To if you have questions about any project that you have. The staff are all really friendly & are very knowledgeable. Plus it's nice to support a local family owned business!
