The service that I received at Crazy Lenny's E-Bikes was fantastic! I originally went in to the store last month after deciding to buy an E-Bike to replace my car for communing. I went into the store just to get an idea of the bikes that were available and was kindly greeted by Lenny and his staff. Lenny then took the time to personally walk me around the store after finding out more about my needs. We were able to narrow down the huge selection at the store to several bikes which fit my needs. Lenny offered to ride any bike I was interested in and made me feel very welcome! I wanted to involve my spouse in the decision and came back a week later after doing more research. When I came back, I worked with Gary, who was also fantastic and provided me with excellent service. We test rode several bikes and decided on the Stromer ST1-X. Overall, I could not be more pleased with my purchase, the service I received from Crazy Lenny's, or the quality and selection of E-Bikes. Several of my friends have already tried the bike as well and I highly recommended they check out Crazy Lenny's store in Madison! Thanks for everything. I can assure you that I will return to this store for my next E-Bike.
My wife and I bought two Stromer e-bikes from Lenny's while spending this past summer in Madison. We worked out an amazing deal and rode away happy. At the end of the summer, we paid Lenny's to pack and ship our bikes back home to Texas. The 3rd party shipper (Saia) unfortunately broke the carbon fork on my bike while in transit. After one phone call and an email with pictures of the damage, Lenny's staff was on it and filed a claim. A couple weeks later, I received an upgraded suspension fork in the mail. Great group to deal with. Highly recommend!

Service shop - dramatically below average
I purchased an e-bike and had a minor issue with a brake. Being very new to e-bikes and knowing little about them, I brought my bike in, and met with Conner, who was above and beyond helpful and kind. He was also wonderful and patient to my 6 year old son, whom had A LOT of "bike questions." My bike was repaired promptly by a knowledgeable technician. Big thanks to Conner, and the rest of the staff, for your courteousness and professionalism. Your show room and selection of bikes are amazing.

I want to give this local place a chance but it's gotten to the point where I have predictably bad interactions and I'm starting to regret having ever gotten involved in the first place.
I bought a $2500 plus bike 9 months ago. I ride it a lot and it's required a lot of service. Their service department has made a number of mistakes when diagnosing the problems and replacing the parts. To add to that, they team moves very slowly and it can be weeks before the mistake is identified and addressed.
My family stopped into their new showroom to check out a cargo bike. The salesperson was super friendly and helpful, encouraging all of us to try the bike out. We wound up purchasing the bike, and we're super happy with it.
The sales floor is stocked with tons of amazing bikes - mountain, urban, cruiser, cargo, even some trikes and other specialized bikes. The shop is right on a bike trail, so you can safely take the bikes for a test ride. We never felt pressured to buy, and we were able to get exactly what we wanted on our new bike. It's great to have such a well-stocked e-bike store here in Madison! Lots of bigger cities don't have one, so we're lucky to be able to see these amazing machines in-person.
