They get 5 stars for the selection, definitely the widest range of components, tools, and accessories in Madison. I have gotten many things there over the years. Overall, I don't give it 5 stars because their prices aren't actually that low.
Had a great experience today. I don't know much about bikes so I just said I needed to fix my brakes and a general tune up. Fast service. They went above and beyond what I needed for a good price. They also explained everything clearly. Will come here for everything I need in the future.
I love this place! You can't just bring your bike in to have them fix the flat. They'll tune your gears and brakes and grease your chain. On the spot too. They have a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff that work on the honor system and have great prices. This is the place to go for your bicycle needs!
Bought a used recumbent in mid-June. Chad and the recumbent sales staff did a superb job of finding the right one, and adjusting the bike to suit me. Also bought clipless pedals and bike shoes on a subsequent visit. Felt the salesperson listened well as he found what I needed, and the service staff problem-solved a pedal install that took extra time and expertise. I am a very happy customer!
Brought my bike in to trade it in after having the tube pop 3 times. Thought the bike was too small for my size. Staff convinced me that was not the issue and my bike was in good shape. Also helped explain how I may not be inflating tires regularly enough. Took it over to the repair shop and the repair man found a thorn in the tire after inspecting it closely! This was after having the tire/tube looked at and replaced twice by other shops! Very happy this should be fixed for good. Worth driving the extra few miles to go here next time.
