If you have Blue Cross/Blue Shield you will pay not only a co-pay but also a facility fee just to go to a doctor at this clinic I spent about four days of my life discussing the inequity of this fee with UW. The facility charges more but doesn't provide any different or better care than other UW clinics. I also wasn't able to get a same day appointment with my doctor the entire year that I used this clinic. I ended up going back to UW West Towne Clinic. All UW facilities need to hire more Family Practitioners. I keep hearing about a shortage of doctors but it's been years now and you would think the administration could have a solution by now. Also, the check in system seems inefficient. at UW Health West. There is no one to greet you or answer any questions on the second floor until the nurse calls you back. You have to check in downstairs and then go upstairs to a waiting room with no options for assistance.
This is the worst clinic ever!!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT!!!! I only wish I was joking, the Drs prescribe for there profit only! They will not tell about the meds there giving you then when you have a problem mixing the meds they tell you to take together they blame it on you!!! Then they try and give you more meds to counteract the meds they gave you. Then to make matters worse they will refuse to do the blood tests for the meds they gave you despite it being a risk of DEATH. I've absolutely had it with these awful people, I've threatened to go to the bord about them more then once but now I'm no longer making threats!!! I'm going to make sure they all loose there medical licenses!!!
What a nightmare! These people do not care about you as a person- you just get shuttled from one person to another without any concern for you or your situation.
I can't even get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment!
