I've had my haircut and colored here three times now by Kenzie - I've never been happier with my hair! She does a wonderful job and everyone I've encountered there is extremely professional and pleasant - including when I've had questions about the cost. Louise especially was very helpful with my questions after my appointment today.
I had the best hair cutting experience I've ever had with Bonnie. She was super nice and very experienced. She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and how to accomplish it. She also showed me how to do my hair like she was doing it. I appreciated that they weren't overly salesy or pushing products. I will definitely go back. A true pleasure!
Absolutely terrible service and experience. Stylist was cold and rushed to get me out of there, taking no care in my hair. She cut my hair short, uneven, unbalanced, and without texture - when I asked for the opposite of all of these. She hid the poor cut by styling it with product even after I told her I don't do either to my hair. I have taken my business to the other, much better, nearby salons down the road and I've been very happy since.
I've been going to Anaala on and off for over 5 years. It is tough to find a stylist who understands different hair types and loves what they do, but Anaala on Atwood consistently has the best talent in Madison. Sabrina does outstanding work on wavy/curly hair, and there isn't a stylist there that I wouldn't give a ringing endorsement to. Aveda products are worth their weight in gold and the point system pays off. Plus, the salon opens relatively early and closes late so making an appointment is rarely a problem.
Bonnie has been cutting my son's hair for years. We followed her from another salon, as my son absolutely refuses to go to anyone else. She is a great stylist and always a delight.
