ER Dr. Karl Nibbelink is the rudest and most unprofessional healthcare professional I have ever met. He didn't care about my medical issue, tried to discharge me early, and then tried to patronize me. Hey arrogant guy, be a doctor not a jerk. I rarely go to the ER but if I did in future it would be UW.
I had a late night visit to the emergency room. The staff I encountered that night were great. I really appreciate their help. My dissatisfaction is with the accounting and administrative services after. Most already know that medical billing is terrible in general. I think I'm at 3 companies asking for money, who knows how many more are out there. The worst of it, and the reason for the poor review, is that I updated my address and health insurance with them at the time of the visit, however they neglected to share any of that information with they myriad companies that expect money from me. UnityPoint couldn't even get it right for their own bill.
We decided to have our baby here. The case was great and everyone was very helpful. However, some genius there decided to send us a $5000 bill instead of running it by the insurance company. It's been 15 months and the collection agency is still calling us about a bill that our insurance company said multiple times we are not responsible for it and do not need to pay it. All because of some desk jockey not doing their job correctly. We will never go there again just because of this.

The nurse Melissa Hyman called the police and made up the fact a story in which threatened the clinic staff. I have 4 officers arrive at my house with two weapons drawn. I could have died. I implore you, if you have mental health issues to stay away. She did this because during I called during a panic attack. She kept saying things that were making me anxious about how it sounds like i need an ambulance for my panic attack. I asked her to stop talking and she started being louder and more direct about how she was about to call the cops. I called her a dumbass to shut her up because I needed a break from her stressing me out. She called the cops. The cops when they were leaving told me they thought the call was unwarranted. I called the clinic to complain and they told me i was a liar and kicked me out for good.
