Great hidden gem in Madison. They've been around for ages and the food is good and actually spicy, something of a rarity in the Midwest. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And there are some seats available for eating at the restaurant, though not many.
Great food. I recommend the red beans and rice with smoked sausage or the Mardi Gras combo if you are feeling adventurous Have not had an item on the menu i was not pleased with. Ken and his friendly staff always have my pickup order ready on time even when it is busy. Thanks guys!
No more blackened chicken... it used to be really good. Not sure why they took it off.
