My pulled pork was satisfying - it was moist, tender and bursting with flavor and needed no extra sauce. I wouldn't hesitate ordering it again.
My meal was not inexpensive, but the quick turn around means I'll probably return. The interior of the restaurant is too kitschy for my tastes, but the pulled pork is too good to let a little flair get in the way.
I love coming here for BBQ ribs they are very good. Service has always been good, you can feel an energy in the room as they rush to tables to make sure everyone is taken care of. Its a good spot for lunch meetings, everyone leaves happy.
I used to love this place but lately it has gone downhill. My food tonight was lukewarm, including the iced tea, and the meat was so fatty that I gave up trying to find the edible pieces. The corn cobs were overcooked and served without butter. When I asked for some, the waitress brought water instead and promptly disappeared until the end of the meal. So disappointed.
I was less of a fan of the brisket. It was dry with no bark and no smoke flavor. I needed to add sauce and the sauce was less than memorable.
Famous Dave is FAMOUS for a good reason. Delicious food, every time with friendly people who make you feel welcome. Even a simple thing like the cornbread muffins are AWESOME! I love everything I have had there. The hardest part is choosing among so many delicious dishes. THANKS DAVE!
Great service at the bar for lunch. I needed to eat lunch in 25 minutes and my server ensured that happened.
Ribs, wings and beef brisket are my favorite very delish just wish they offered more weekly specials and deals. Enjoy sitting in or carry out.
