It's great to see a store which cares about locally grown, and for whom well-cared for livestock is part and parcel to the mission of healthy food services. Cortisol in meat is a rampant problem in the industry, the consumption of which is strongly linked to obesity and heart problems from visceral fat. I'm glad to see someone doing their part to change this phenomenon and make people literally less ill. Props to the owners.
They support local food vendors, are very family oriented, and an all-around great service. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easier lifestyle.
Our family has struggled to have consistent meals for years and having Shepard’s Harvest deliver meals each week makes cooking so easy. It’s given us adequate nutrition and time to do others things on school nights. Plus, the food is locally sourced.
