Food is so delicious! I love it! I would definitely go back if I lived in Wisconsin not in Illinois. It is a bit overpriced, I would say. Overall it’s a very good restaurant!

Real Chinese food. For years, I had to drive to Chicago to have some real Chinese food. Now I do not need to do that because of Ichiban. Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in town. Strongly recommend.

Ichiban is as delicious as it is spicy. Their menu has improved recently in terms of readability, too. Boiled fish in the chili sauce and cumin lamb are some of my favorites. Look for their iOS app, too; they deliver in bulk on campus, which is very convenient and some of the best lunch you can get on campus.

I live for Ichiban Sichuan. Authentic, delicious Szechuan dishes. Their twice-cooked pork and crunchy spicy chicken are UNMATCHED. I'm horribly sad that I moved away from Madison because I have yet to find a decent twice-cooked pork anywhere that matches the standard of Ichiban. Every time I'm back in town, I get at least two or three orders to bring home.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday after a Badger basketball game. Menu is extensive, and I agree with other reviewers that this is authentic Chinese food. However, we were surprised when we ordered pot stickers for our appetizer and they brought us a completely different dish. The waitress recognized that we had been given the wrong item, but instead of apologizing and bringing us what we ordered, she explained that what we were given was a popular menu item and would it be ok? Wait, what?? You made a mistake and we need to eat what you brought us? Yeah no....we won't be back.
