Huge selection of everything and very reasonable prices. The liquor department has plenty of hard to be find beers, wines, and spirits, including a wide selection of smaller local breweries. They do not accept credit cards (debit is ok) so plan ahead. An ATM is available on site if needed.
I LOVE going here! Meats are always fresh, tons of selection for items... Good prices. Nice sales, and awesome options for check out! Sometimes the full service lines are long, but the cashier's are wonderful, and there's TWO other options besides the full service lines. My favorite place to grocery shop. Hands down!

Their liquor store had items I can't find in other large stores. The store is huge and the aisles are generally wide enough. I also find grocery items I seldom find at other stores (like wagon wheel shaped pasta) at a price no different than any other pasta.
Have shopped at Woodman's west store for 8 years. Great selection and price. Superior store maintenance - including the super clean bathrooms.
Always trying the latest technology. Recently I left something personal in the store and the staff did a great job of finding and returning it to me. Just the best kind of folks to shop with.

Produce can be hit or miss. Liquor store is the largest and best in Madison. And they'll get something for you if they don't carry it.
