This establishment will graciously ban anyone who leaves less than a three-star review on google. The venue can be a good place to listen to certain artists that are booked. Bigger names like RL Grime, Dillion Francis, and The Chainsmokers have all played at this venue at one time or another. Upon entering the premises, they will ask you to face a camera so that they can take your picture as well as take another picture of your drivers license. Why they are blatantly collecting unneeded data on customers is beyond me. If you ask why they are doing this you are told it is company policy. If you refuse to comply you are not allowed into the venue. Much larger venues in Chicago, Minneapolis or Milwaukee do not have this policy and begs the question as to why this is necessary. Hopefully within the foreseeable future this will officially be deemed an illegal violation of our right to privacy and will no longer be needed. It is a good night if the floor is clean before the show starts and doors open up on time. You never know what kind of hoops management will make you jump through just to get into the venue. Have become less strict about dress code but would turn people away in the past for wearing plain/ordinary clothes. This is probably to give the appearance of a high-end nightclub. Will make customers wait outside in the cold for no reason other than looking like they have a large line formed outside. Need to stop putting on a club facade and just be a concert venue. I would suggest getting rid of the VIP area and make it a dance floor once again so people stop climbing up the railing and could potentially prevent a lawsuit if someone fell. This would also prevent people from spilling/throwing drinks at patrons in the general admission area. RIP Segredo, stay classy Liquid.

Start by cleaning the damn floors

Lol! How y’all dead ass act like a high end club when y’all dont keep it clean!? Top of that y’all ban people for posting bad review instead of taking it in consideration what could be at work? Y’all need to understand your place. Y’all in Wisconsin. I know it is business, I would set up a stuck up club in Wisconsin too, But y’all sorry AsF!

Thank you Liquid for a wonderful Wisconsin experience... sorry UW lost last night

Great place! I love the securty system, they can even hold your coat until after party for free

If you enjoy being discriminated against, this is by far the best club in Madison. I was helping my friend out by loaning him my jacket so that he could enter, because "plain T-shirts" are not allowed. after they get in, I run home to grab a different shirt. I put on this other shirt with decals and such on it, after a few minutes of waiting at the counter, I am finally told it costs $15 to enter... I work hard for my money so I decide its not worth it. so I start asking questions about dress code, the guy rambles some nonsense to me about how the audience has vastly improved since the change, telling me that "trashy people" are deterred.... I didn't even have to go inside to know they don't deserve a penny from me. if you want to pay to be discriminated against by all means, this is the place to go.

And if I’m Ban? Do it, it only proves how sorry the place really is.

Y’all need to keep that place clean. How you open The doors, knowing that y’all got some sticky nasty ass floor and you still tryna act all high end, top of the line club?

This review could of been prevent if y’all only listen, instead of being all defensive like a offended privileged mofo. Step it up

I went here last night 12/2/2017. First off let me say I am from Virginia and just happened to be in Madison. So last night was a slow night but i had a great time. Drinks were NOT expensive at all and if you think they are lol dont come to VA. Jack and Henny me and my guy were on all night and back home aint no way in hell a double shot is less than $20 so we were definitely happy about that. The staff was extremely helpful ( because i had questions lol) not one rude person did i encounter. The female restroom was sooo freaking cute and big. Yes they do take a pic of you at the door ... but like really who cares about that (only lames im sure). I will say this is not the place to go to if you can only party to hip hop. I can get turnt to any music so i was fine. Anybody who claims their racist ... just stop..my black ass was all up in there lol lol ... anywho i would definitely come back hopefully next time it will be more people.
