Always busy, unclear why. Somewhere to go on Monroe, nothing remarkable about it. Small space in which it's hard to move around. Food on the lighter, healthier side. You're unlikely to get a spot at the bar, even on slow nights. Service is often awkward. Not good for sports. Great tap selection.
Seriously solid place for food and drinks. It is a bit small but that’s something that can easily be overlooked. The staff is attentive but not annoying. I appreciate being able to bring my celiac wife somewhere that’s understanding of the diet restrictions and makes it a great dining experience.
So so so good and very conscious of gluten free needs! This is my favorite brunch spot, drinks are also delicious. Couldn't recommend more!
Wow. Excellent food and excellent service. Loved that the menu wasn't the same old food that I has expected. The beer and wine were amazing. Not a lot of seating so make a reservation just in case. We will be back.
I love Jacs. The food is delicious, and the staff are both friendly and helpful. Case in point: my first time there, I accidentally ordered a sandwich with pork in it for a Muslim friend. It was my error; the ingredients had been clearly written in the menu. When I asked to order another sandwich, they made him a new one without pork, and didn't charge me for his sandwich (I tried to make up for it with the tip :-). I heartily recommend Jacs to anyone visiting Madison. It's a top-notch dining experience.
