This is currently my favorite Indian restaurant in Madison. A few dishes you won't find at other area restaurants, plus all the standard classics. Friendly staff, decent speed for carryout, and when they say something is spicy they mean it.
Update: 4/29/2017 Best visit so far to Haldi. Everything was hot and fresh. Staff was very attentive.
Friendly service, very flavorful, and great spices. Indian food the way it should be made.
Getting better, but still not as good as the Kangchen that it replaced.
