Most times I've come here, I had a decent experience and employees were willing to help me find what I was looking for. Tonight, however, I was disappointed. I came here to find an e-collar for my pup who opened a lesion on her belly and won't stop licking it. I found a particular e-collar that was $28 in the store and $11 on Amazon (shipping included). Upon my request, the cashier went to ask the manager, who was sitting with his legs up on the phone, whether they could price match and he told her they do not price match with Amazon and will only price match with "other stores in the area". That is understandable, but the fact that the manager wouldn't get off the phone to come and talk with a customer or try to work something out with me was disappointing. None of their products should be so overpriced that they are nearly three times what is offered online with free shipping--particularly products that are often needed in time-sensitive situations such as this one. Supporting local businesses is important to me, but a price difference as stark as this one discourages me from buying products at their store. Plus, as a customer I felt completely ignored by the manager. Thankfully the customer service is usually better than this.
Never had a problem with this place. Only wish they carried the same litter for rabbits as other places do so i wouldnt have to go to 2 places. They have always been helpful when i need suggestions when it comes to food and cleaning items when it comes to my rabbit. They even clip his nails for a low price. Good place overall.
Huge diversity of pets. Seems to have a nice $10 dog washing room complete with all necessary supplies and a large crate. They have lots of fish, lizards, geckos, tortoises and turtles, birds, small mammals, etc. We didn't see dogs or cats, but that wasn't what we were looking for, so they may have had them. They do sell plenty of cat and dog food.
This store has lots of pets. It seemed nice and the staff was really helpful. Only issue is they keep their baby bearded dragons on sand, which is a huge "don't" because they often get impactions. Other than that, the cages and habitats were clean and they had a large selection of products. I was relieved to see that they do not sell dogs, a lot of stores that sell (not adopt) dogs are an issue because stores that sell puppies usually sell from puppy mills.
Had a number of good experiences here after purchasing toys that were marketed for strong chewers, having my dog obliterate them within 5 minutes, and still being able to return them. However, I purchased a "ultra-rugged" dog bed that my dog chewed a hole in within a month. I was told there's nothing they can do and that I need to reach out to the manufacturer (I did, and that's a whole other issue). The bed cost over $50, so expecting it to last more than a month doesn't seem like an unrealistic expectation. The managers I spoke with only repeated to reach out to the manufacturer and did not offer any alternatives. I won't be buying anything here again.
