Associates are extremely nice and helpful. Awesome prices! Plus they basically do almost everything free of charge tire related if you have purchased your tires with them. THUMBS UP!!!
Awesome. These guys are very knowledgable about tires and there are no hidden costs. Everything is explained well up front, and they make scheduling a breeze.
How did this not get caught the day they mounted and balanced the tire? It was very apparent on the balance machine now. They luckily had a replacement set of wheels that actually fit the car - one and only good mark here. When they finished the " "Assistant Manager" Came over to show me the lug nut and stud that they stripped out. Only they blamed the person before for doing it. "Sir, It appears who ever installed the wheels stripped this lug nut out when they tightened it." I looked at the stud and noticed the first 2 threads were gone this only happens when someone who is careless and knows nothing about an impact attempts to start the lug nut with the impact gun....... I watched as each person in the shop did this to every car being serviced. I left with my mouth closed and thought there is no way this just happened. I cant make this up. Either way Tire Rack and a local shop will now forever have my business. Never again will spend a dime there nor will I recommend them again.
I'll continue going to discount tire for my wheel and tire needs! :)
The guys working here uphold Discount Tire's values; they treat customers and fellow employees with respect and fairness, care for those in need, do what is right, work hard, be responsible, and have fun.
I appreciate their work and the fact that they stayed late to get my car done even though I had no appointment. The only thing that would be nicer is if they had an extra person at the phone/register. Sometimes took a while to answer the phone and there was a wait to pay.
They were super busy and didn't have any time for appointments because they were booked solid for the next couple of weeks. I asked if I could drop my car off in the morning and they said that was fine and they'd get to it at some point in the day. Even though they closed at 6, they still swapped the tires for my car and found a way to fit the summer tires in the back of the Mustang almost an hour after they closed.
Good Luck with them but I say go elsewhere!!!!
UPDATE 12/23/2017: I ordered three full sets of wheels and tires with DT this year. Due to circumstances out of the stores control, I had some trouble getting one of my sets of wheels and tires. Although I had to make a few trips into the store, each time I went in the guys were helpful and worked very hard to make sure I got my winter wheels and tires before traveling for the holidays.
I will always trust my car at Discount. The guys are very accommodating and helpful and they've got some of the best prices in town. They've fixed 2 flats of mine for free and swap my tires every season change. I drive the 30 minutes from the East side to specifically bring my car here. They're the best!
Long story short. I ordered tires and wheel for a specific car. I was told it would be 2 days until they came in, about 2 weeks later I called for an update. They had never ordered them.... After they came in I noticed that I had received multi use wheels that did not fit well at all.... Once they mounted and balanced the tires I installed them on my car. proper torque used per Subaru manual. On the first trip going 60mph the car began to shake violently, I was on my way to work and was forced to pull into this store yet again. I was greeted and told that it would be a few hours to check the balance. I explained the situation and told them that time frame was unacceptable!!! They worked to get the car in and when they found the problem. It was not the balance. It was actually a wheel that was welded wrong and hopping when it spun.......
SAVE YOUR TIME AND STRESS GO ELSEWHERE YOU WILL THANK ME!!!! I have been in the automotive industry for going on 18 years now. NEVER in my life have I treated a customer the way I was treated here. Never in my carrier have I seen people know so little about what they are doing, from the Techs (if you can call them that) to the consultants.
