I stop in every time I am in Madison. The little cup of hot chocolate is a mix of magic, chocolate, and crack. I know they have other stuff.. food.. other chocolate stuff.. All that stuff is good too but it is not as magic and full of crack. Get that little cup of Parisian chocolate...
Plenty of seating, good place to meet people if you're looking to have a semi-private conversation (unlike really small coffee shops). Great place to work from.
One of my favorite coffee shops around. Decent tea options, a limited food menu with enough variety, and delicious chocolate products, pastries, and other treats! The chocolate mousse is my favorite.
Delicious fancy baked goods and chocolates. The ugly cookies are to die for. As is the French hot chocolate. But be prepared the French hot chocolate is like drinking a melted chocolate bar, extremely rich. A treasure of Madison. And you can get a glass of wine with your chocolate.
This place, though!! Leanne has done an amazing job of snuggling right into the SASY neighborhood and making it feel like they’ve just been there forever. My favorite is a toss up between the Ugly Cookie or the Spicy Chocolate Cookie - I’d say it depends on the day. But honestly they do so much, so well that I can safely say... Go Here.
I went here on my birthday, and had a good-sized selection of items they had. Their Parisian Hot Chocolate is very rich and thick! Like drinking melted chocolate. Their mousse was yummy, made with Sassy Cow milk. And of the macarons I had, the raspberry was definitely my favorite!
