Woodmans has the best selection of food and liquor in the Madison area.
One of the best beer and liquor selections in Madison. Beer has many local and in-state options, but not so many of the small breweries from just outside the state. Beer is basically out of room here, and it appears they're being limited and what they can offer compared to other nearby locations.
Best selection of groceries with great prices. Almost always busy except for evening hours it seems
I've been going to Woodman's for over a decade now. They have some of the best selection in town and some of the best prices as well. Our biggest knock is that there is no service. The cashiers are traditionally overwhelmed with people and so you are left to make your own decisions on which of the 50 vodkas to get. Also they don't take credit cards which is okay but part of the reason their prices are so low.
